Renuka firmly informs Ekam that she does not give her permission for adoption. Ekam counters by accusing her of only considering herself. Renuka retorts that she is actually thinking about him and Harleen, and questions whether he understands the joy of becoming a father.
Meanwhile, the doctor advises Nehmat to listen to her child’s heartbeat. Overwhelmed with emotions upon hearing the heartbeat, Nehmat realizes that Ekam is not present to experience this precious moment of their impending parenthood. She also becomes aware of the doctor’s changing expression, prompting her to inquire about the well-being of their child. The doctor recommends consulting a senior gynecologist in Chandigarh. Sartaj encourages Nehmat to place her trust in God.
Harleen expresses her distress over Ekam’s inability to become a father due to her. Nani reassures her by mentioning the advancements in medical science. She suggests visiting a gurudwara in Chandigarh, and they both agree to go.
Later, Ekam and Harleen start distributing juice, but Nehmat starts feeling suffocated in the car. Sartaj notices a juice stall and offers to get juice for Nehmat. Harleen notices Nehmat’s discomfort and mistakenly assumes she is following Ekam. Determined to prevent Nehmat from meeting Ekam, Harleen decides not to let them interact. Harleen insists that she won’t allow Nehmat to come between her and Ekam’s relationship.

He prays for Nehmat and her child’s well-being.
