The Sarpanch ji explains that since Dadi is no longer capable of self-care, Madan will assume responsibility for Bindiya and Payel, while Filmati will attend to her own mother. Bindiya and Payel are left devastated and begin shedding tears, adamantly refusing to go with any of them. Dadi beseeches Fulmati to leave them be, but it becomes apparent that Fulmati and Bhim have meticulously prepared for their dissent. Consequently, Fulmati retaliates, accusing Bindiya and Payel of insulting and ejecting them from the house the previous night. With a swift motion, she and Bhim uncover their faces, revealing Fulmati’s completely devoid eyebrows and Bhim’s fully shaven head.
The villagers erupt into laughter, and Fulmati amplifies the drama. She garners all attention towards herself and starts sobbing profusely. She proclaims her deep love for her mother and expresses her ardent desire to care for her, highlighting Bindiya and Payel as obstacles obstructing her path. Fulmati accuses Bindiya of being responsible for the removal of her eyebrows. Bindiya attempts to narrate the entire incident and unveil the truth.
Fulmati interrupts Bindiya, presenting evidence she has gathered from Bindiya’s house. Among the evidence is a tube of toothpaste that Payal had filled with glue to teach Fulmati a lesson. Fulmati asks a woman to taste the toothpaste, causing Payal to become anxious and plead with Bindiya to stop Fulmati. Bindiya manages to prevent the woman from tasting it, but Fulmati demands an explanation. Bindiya is speechless, unable to provide a reason. The village head, Sarpanch ji, asks Bindiya the same question, and finally, Bindiya reveals the truth, expressing apologies for their actions.
Fulmati becomes emotional and begins crying, dramatically describing Payal’s mischievous behavior as an elaborate plan to punish her, mistakenly diverting the blame. Sarpanch ji attempts to resolve the issue, but Fulmati craves more attention. Dadi informs everyone that Fulmati had set fire to their field and crops. Fulmati further complicates the situation, while Madan asks Dadi to provide evidence of the wrongdoing. Bindiya recalls that she had already returned Fulmati’s partially burnt cloth, but then she remembers having another piece of evidence. Bindiya steps forward and asks Fulmati to show her right hand.
Initially, Fulmati refuses to show her hand, but Bindiya insists and reveals Fulmati’s burnt hand to the others. However, Madan dismisses the evidence, claiming it was just a regular burn obtained while cooking. Everyone naturally agrees with Madan’s explanation. Bindiya makes another attempt to prove her point, asking others to recall the events of the day the field was burned. Some villagers claim to have seen Bhim and Fulmati near the field before it caught fire. However, Bhim argues that he was there for a different reason and dismisses the truth as a mere coincidence.
Every time Bindiya tries to prove her point, Madan intervenes and prevents her from doing so. He manipulates the situation, distorting the facts, and emphasizes that Bhim’s presence in the field is insignificant. He urges Sarpanch ji to reach a conclusion based on strong and reliable evidence. Bindiya and Payal feel helpless in the face of this obstruction.
