Vimal ensnares Maitree and Harsh in a storage room, and afterwards, he walks away. To their dismay, Maitree and Harsh realize that their phones have no network coverage, rendering them unable to make any calls. Meanwhile, Vimal and his family reach Vasundhara’s residence. Sachin, patiently waiting for Maitree, is eager to see her. Curious about the duration of their confinement, Maitree wonders if Princy’s wedding will be over before they are released from the room. The confined space starts to make Maitree feel claustrophobic, but Harsh comes to her aid, doing his best to make her feel comfortable.
Eventually, Harsh and Maitree successfully escape from the storage room. Meanwhile, Nandini compels Princy to sit on the mandap for the wedding, while Princy anxiously waits for Sachin. Taking advantage of the situation, Maitree and Harsh make their way out of Vimal’s residence through a window and hurry towards the mandap. On their way, Maitree contacts Dinesh for assistance. As they arrive at the mandap, the pandit urges Vimal and Princy to begin the pheras, the sacred wedding circles. Nandini notices Princy’s nervousness and proposes that Princy marry Vimal instead. Reluctantly, Princy accepts and proceeds with the pheras alongside Vimal.
Harsh and Maitree found themselves caught in heavy traffic, causing a significant delay. Frustrated by the situation, Maitree decides to abandon the vehicle and make her way to the venue on foot. Pandit emphasizes that the marriage will only be considered complete after the final phere. However, just as Maitree arrives at the venue accompanied by Hardh and Sachin, she shocks everyone by requesting the annulment of the marriage.
Neelu, curious about Maitree’s sudden change of heart, inquires about the reason behind her decision. Maitree accuses Vimal’s family of being fraudulent individuals who engage in deceptive wedding practices to extract dowry. The accusation leaves everyone stunned. Vimal’s family denies the allegations, claiming that Maitree is falsely accusing them. Nandini and Raj Kumar request that Maitree leave the premises.
In an attempt to substantiate her claims, Maitree presents evidence in the form of photographs from Vimal’s previous marriages. Chakra Mani and Neelu are taken aback as they witness the revealing images. Maitree hands divorce papers to Vasundhara, informing her that Princy is the next potential victim of Vimal’s family. In a shocking turn of events, Vimal manages to escape the police’s grasp, taking Maitree hostage before fleeing from the venue. The unexpected incident leaves everyone stunned and bewildered.
Vimal escorts Maitree to his residence, where she implores him to grant her solitude. However, Vimal adamantly asserts his determination to stay until he administers his vengeance upon her. Sensing the urgency, Dinesh promptly informs all checkpoints while he and Harsh embark on a search for Maitree using different strategies. Meanwhile, Vimal restrains Maitree by fastening her to a chair. To stifle her cries, he places a handkerchief in her mouth before igniting the room with paraffin, enveloping it in flames.
