The Episode Starts With Sartaj and Nehmat arriving in Chandigarh. Sartaj warmly welcomes Nehmat to her new home, embracing the start of her new life. He expresses his desire to share something with her, but hesitates and decides to postpone it for later. Nehmat mentions that she has an interview to attend, and Sartaj offers to drop her off. However, she declines the offer and asks for the car keys, which Sartaj hands over to her.
Meanwhile, Nimmo attempts to clarify Harleen’s misunderstanding about Nehmat. Harleen, however, insists that Nimmo refrains from defending her. She holds Nehmat responsible for not disclosing the truth about Ekam’s blackmail, feeling betrayed by her deliberate silence. Filled with anger, Harleen abruptly walks away, leaving Nimmo concerned about the bitterness she holds towards Nehmat.
In another scene, Ekam approaches Harleen, seeking a chance to calm the turmoil within her. He assures her of his commitment. Harleen expresses that if Ekam genuinely wishes to preserve their relationship, he must let go of his past and move forward. As Ekam reflects on his memories with Nehmat, he takes steps toward Harleen, making promises to fulfill every commitment he made to her during their marriage.
On the contrary, Nehmat surprises Sartaj with sweets and shares the news of her new job. Sartaj expresses concern, advising Nehmat not to overwork herself. Nehmat playfully brushes off his worries and explains the significance of this job for her and her child. Intrigued, Sartaj mentions that he has a surprise for her. He gently covers Nehmat’s eyes with his hand and leads her into a room. As he unveils the surprise, Nehmat is overwhelmed with emotion upon seeing the toys and the cradle. The background music plays “Abhi Mujh Mein Kahin.” Sartaj eagerly asks if she liked the surprise, to which Nehmat responds with joy. Her eyes catch the sight of baby pictures adorning the walls, and she lovingly caresses them, smiling. Nehmat is taken aback when she notices a basket containing a lemon and lemon tree leaves. Sartaj explains that it helps with nausea, recalling how his mother used it. Nehmat is deeply touched by Sartaj’s thoughtfulness and caring nature. Sartaj confesses that seeing her happy brings him immense happiness too. Nehmat expresses her gratitude to Sartaj.
Sartaj then guides Nehmat to sit on the bed, urging her to rest. He prepares to leave, but Nehmat stops him, reminding him of something he wanted to tell her earlier. Sartaj ponders how to convey his message. Meanwhile, Ekam presents Harleen with a mangalsutra adorned with a pendant. Back to Sartaj, he expresses his desire to seek Nehmat’s permission before proceeding further. Placing his hand on her tummy, he symbolically seeks the baby’s permission. Simultaneously, Harleen opens the pendant and discovers pictures of Ekam and herself inside. Ekam seeks Harleen’s permission to put the mangalsutra on her, and she willingly hands it to him. Ekam lovingly places the mangalsutra around her neck. In that moment, Sartaj musters the courage to ask Nehmat if he can give his name to her child and become her life partner. Nehmat is taken aback by this unexpected revelation.
