Sartaj happens upon Rupy, who is sitting on the roadside, visibly distressed. Sartaj inquires about Rupy’s well-being, prompting him to recount the recent harrowing encounter. Rupy beseeches Sartaj to assume responsibility for the land, surprising him as Rupy places his trust in a complete stranger. Before Rupy can fully explain the situation, Sartaj interrupts and asks whether Nehmat has visited Rupy’s residence.
Simultaneously, Ekam asserts to Nehmat that if she rejects his demand, he will present the divorce papers to Harleen, thus escalating the situation.
Naaz intercepted Harleen, inquiring about her destination. Harleen retorted, mocking Naaz and affirming that Nehmat’s assessment of her was accurate. She urged Sartaj to keep their pregnancy a secret, as she was engaged to him but carrying Ekam’s child. Sartaj assured her that he would take care of Nehmat.

Sartaj wished that Nehmat would never feel uneasy, although he recognized that it was beyond his control. Just as he was about to depart, Nehmat grabbed his hand and implored him to stay with her for a while, as she was experiencing anxiety. Sartaj agreed and remained by her side until Nehmat drifted off to sleep.
Nehmat woke up in a cold sweat. She had been having the same nightmare again. In the dream, Ekam was in her room, telling her how beautiful she looked while she slept. She tried to push him away, but he wouldn’t let her go. Then, Harleen walked in and saw them together. Nehmat tried to explain, but Ekam just pulled her closer and said that they loved each other. Harleen was furious. She accused them of betraying her and said that she wished she had died the other day. She broke a glass vase and stabbed herself.
Nehmat woke up gasping for air. She was relieved to find that it was all a dream. But she couldn’t shake the feeling of dread that it was a premonition of things to come.
Nimmo came into the room and saw that Nehmat was awake. She asked her what was wrong. Nehmat told her about the dream. Nimmo listened patiently and then said, “Don’t worry, it was just a dream. Nothing bad is going to happen.”
Nehmat wanted to believe her, but she couldn’t shake the feeling that something was wrong. She got out of bed and went to the window. The sun was shining and the birds were singing, but Nehmat couldn’t enjoy the beautiful day. She was too worried about what the future held.
Just then, her phone rang. It was Ekam. He said that he had made breakfast for her and asked if he could bring it to her room. Nehmat didn’t want to see him, but she didn’t want to be rude either. So she said yes.
Ekam brought the breakfast in and set it down on the table. Nehmat thanked him and sat down. She picked up a fork and took a bite of her food. It was delicious, but she couldn’t taste it. She was too busy worrying about what was going to happen.
After Ekam left, Nehmat sat at the table for a long time, staring at her food. She didn’t know what to do. She was scared and confused. She didn’t know what the future held, but she knew that it couldn’t be good.
Nehmat wept, her tears flowing uncontrollably. Concerned for her friend, Nimmo approached her and gently inquired about the cause of her distress. Urging Nehmat to confide in her, Nimmo anxiously awaited an explanation. Amidst her sobs, Nehmat managed to express her frustration with Ekam’s stubbornness. Seizing the opportunity, Nehmat disclosed to Nimmo the shocking truth of Ekam’s actions: his kidnapping of her and subsequent blackmail. Nimmo was taken aback by this revelation, unable to fathom how Ekam could stoop so low. Determined not to betray Harleen and refuse to become Ekam’s second woman, Nehmat stood resolute.
As the realization dawned upon Nehmat that only fifteen minutes remained, panic gripped her. She pondered her options, desperately contemplating what course of action to take. Meanwhile, Ekam grinned mischievously, his gaze fixed upon a cloak. Nimmo asserted that Ekam simply couldn’t accept that his love had been snatched away. Nehmat, convinced that Ekam’s stubbornness would inevitably ruin everything, shared her concerns with Nimmo.
In the midst of their discussion, Nimmo proposed a single option that could extricate them from the predicament. Nehmat looked on, intrigued yet apprehensive about the suggested plan. Simultaneously, Ekam glanced at his watch, announcing that a mere five minutes remained. He called out for Harleen, shocking Nehmat upon hearing her name being summoned.
Sartaj and Naaz, alerted by Ekam’s voice, made their way towards the hall where the commotion was unfolding. Harleen, too, responded to the call. Swiftly, Nehmat took Ekam aside, covering his mouth, imploring him silently not to divulge anything to Harleen. Naaz caught sight of Nehmat and Ekam, on the verge of investigating further, but Nimmo intervened and redirected her attention elsewhere, successfully diverting her.
Observing Nimmo with Naaz, Sartaj grew curious, wondering what they were up to. Meanwhile, Harleen persisted in calling for Ekam’s attention. Unfazed, Ekam warned Nehmat that only a few seconds remained. Firmly, Nehmat denied Ekam’s request. Undeterred, Ekam began a countdown.
