The Episode Starts With Maitree catching Fake Ashish red-handed as he injects drugs into his body. Unfazed by the situation, Maitree claps in a display of catching him in the act. Firmly resolved, Maitree confronts Disguised Ashish, determined to expose his true identity before everyone. Despite his attempts to convince her otherwise, Maitree remains unconvinced, challenging him about the drug injection. Declaring her intention to reveal the truth, she departs from the scene.
The following day, Ashish undergoes a blood test administered by a doctor. After some time, the doctor returns with the test results. Curious, Maitree and Sona inquire about the outcome. The doctor confirms that the report is negative, revealing no traces of drugs in Ashish’s blood. Nandini and Kusum express their relief, while Om expresses gratitude to the doctor before escorting him out.
Kusum urges Maitree to cease her suspicions towards Ashish, emphasizing her need to trust him. However, Maitree remains unconvinced, causing Ashish to smirk knowingly. Nandini and Kusum assert that he is indeed Ashish, with Nandini confidently stating her familiarity with her husband’s touch. Maitree insists that a DNA test could unequivocally dispel her doubts, but Nandini dismisses the idea, deeming it unnecessary. Surprisingly, Ashish agrees with Maitree, further commenting on her tendency to doubt him. Harsh intervenes, requesting Maitree’s presence elsewhere. She assures him that she will join him later. While leaving, Maitree contemplates Fake Ashish’s peculiar mannerisms, solidifying her conviction that he is an imposter rather than her real husband, Ashish.
Ashish pulls Maitree aside into the store room, revealing to her that she had caught him with sweet water. However, to her shock, he displays the real drugs and consumes them right in front of her. The imposter posing as Ashish confesses his true identity and urges Maitree to uncover his motives. Maitree gazes at him, bewildered, and demands to know who he is and what he has done with the real Ashish. The fake Ashish discloses that she will soon find out, but by then it will be too late, and no one will be able to stop him. In a moment of defiance, Maitree slaps him and declares her determination to send him to jail within 24 hours.
As Maitree ponders how to expose the imposter, Harsh comforts her, advising her not to dwell on her worries. The rest of the family grows concerned upon realizing that Ashish is missing. Eventually, Ashish returns home, and Nandini greets him with a smile. Sona inquires about their plans, to which Ashish responds by revealing a surprise. He announces that he has brought their favorite food and that they will celebrate tonight. Ashish assigns Maitree the task of organizing the surprise event. Although she attempts to take the bag from him, he refuses to give it to her. He heads to the kitchen and retrieves a box containing a snake, concealing it from Maitree. When Maitree questions him about the box he brought with the food, Ashish lies. Nandini arrives and takes them both away. Ashish signals Maitree to check the time, indicating that it is getting late. Meanwhile, the imposter Ashish releases a snake in Maitree’s room, believing that this act will mark the end of her chapter.
