The Episode Starts with Kairi devising a plan to frighten Imlie by concealing herself in her room. In a surprising turn of events, Chini appears in the room disguised as a monster, causing Kairi to scream in terror at the sight of her shadow. Startled, Chini hastily retreats, inadvertently leaving her mask behind. The commotion attracts everyone’s attention, prompting them to gather around Kairi. Meanwhile, Chini reflects on her intention to merely remove Kairi from Imlie’s room, but she didn’t anticipate the extent of Kairi’s fear. She realizes that it was Anu’s idea to begin with and departs with Kairi, who vows never to enter Imlie’s room again, convinced that a monster resides within.
Later, Imlie discovers the abandoned mask and wonders who might have worn it. Chini acknowledges that Anu’s plan was successful, although Kairi remains genuinely frightened. Imlie decides to show the mask to Kairi in hopes of helping her identify its wearer. However, Kairi reacts with a terrified scream, leading Chini to question why Imlie is exacerbating her fear instead of alleviating it. Chini didn’t expect such behavior from Imlie. Nonetheless, Imlie resolves to alleviate Kairi’s fear and proceeds to plan the menu for an upcoming party. She specifically instructs the caterer to avoid including mushroom dishes due to Arto’s allergy. Arto, perplexed by Imlie’s continued consideration for his well-being, urges her not to feign concern, suggesting that mushrooms might still be included in the menu.
Imlie expresses her desire for mushrooms and doesn’t pay any attention to Arto’s choice. The caterer wonders why Imlie is being dishonest. As soon as Arto leaves, she instructs the caterer not to include mushrooms in the menu, revealing that her previous behavior was merely an act for Arto’s benefit. Later, Imlie learns from Chini that Kairi is afraid of monsters and doesn’t want to leave her room. Chini suggests feeding Kairi in her room, and Imlie agrees but also proposes finding a solution to help Kairi overcome her fear.
Arto interrupts, dismissing Imlie’s lecture and suggesting that Chini feed Kairi in her room. Chini, thinking about keeping her family away from Imlie, reluctantly agrees. However, Imlie comes up with an idea and seeks Dhairya’s assistance to cheer up Kairi. Dhairya promises Kairi a surprise. Imlie then appears dressed as Devi Ma, with half of her face made up like a monster and the other half like a goddess. At first, Kairi is frightened, but Dhairya encourages her to call Sita Maiya. Imlie performs a tandav dance, while Devika, Arto, and Chini are out shopping.
Chini suspects that Imlie intends to do something to ease Kairi’s fear, which she doesn’t want to happen. Arto discovers Kairi standing and mistakenly assumes that Imlie, disguised as a scary figure, has scared her. He scolds Imlie, but Kairi explains that her fear is gone because of Imlie’s actions. She decides to go to her room confidently. Shivani praises Dhairya and Imlie for their successful plan. Imlie remarks that everyone has both good and evil within them, but they should always choose the path of goodness. Arto realizes his mistake and expresses gratitude to Imlie for helping Kairi overcome her fear. Chini worries that Kairi is impressed by Imlie and might forget about her.
