The scene begins with Arto approaching Chini and expressing concern about Kairi’s fear of barking dogs. He suggests calling Kairi to ensure she is okay. Chini, however, informs him that Kairi is not in the jungle but with other children, and reassures him that she will be safe. Chini also advises against calling Kairi at night, as it may reflect poorly on them as parents. Arto agrees with Chini and returns to bed. Meanwhile, Chini takes a moment to look at a family photo and Arto misses Kairi’s presence in the room.
In another setting, Imlie thinks about how her own daughter might be like Kairi and prays for her safety. Kairi, on the other hand, excitedly plans to surprise Imlie with a dance performance. However, when a staff member suggests she practice with other children, they become jealous and lock Kairi in a room in an attempt to frighten her.
Imlie was in for a delightful surprise when she learned that Kairi had planned something special for her. As she eagerly anticipated the surprise, a parcel arrived at her doorstep, filled to the brim with tamarind. Upon closer inspection, she found a note inside from Dhairya, wishing her a happy birthday. Puzzled, she decided to give him a call to inquire about the unexpected gift.
To her surprise, Dhairya seemed equally perplexed, speculating that it might have been Rudra who sent the package as a gesture of goodwill towards their future union. However, Imlie quickly cleared the air, admitting that Rudra’s interference had made her uncomfortable, and that she and Dhairya were nothing more than friends.
Although Dhairya was understandably disappointed to hear this, Imlie went on to share with him the positive impact that Kairi had on her spirits, mentioning the summer camp that she had attended. Dhairya was pleased to hear that Imlie was enjoying herself, and urged her to make the most of her time there.
Devika confronted Rudra about why he sent a gift to Imlie on Dhairya’s behalf. Devika believed that Dhairya was scheming to steal Imlie away from Arto. Rudra argued that Imlie couldn’t live her life alone, and they wouldn’t be around to support her forever. Devika responded with taunts, claiming that Imlie could take care of herself and that she would prevent Dhairya and Imlie from uniting.
Meanwhile, Kairi instructed the children to open the door, but they refused and instead made animal noises to scare her. They hoped that by locking Kairi away, Imlie would spend more time with them. Kairi, however, was left in tears due to their cruel behavior.
Arto and Chini were missing Kairi, so they decided to give her a call. Arto dialed the number of the camp, but Imlie picked up the call late, causing Arto to cut it in frustration. However, just as Arto was getting annoyed, Imlie rescued Kairi from falling down after opening the door. Kairi confided in Imlie, telling her how the other kids had locked her in a room. Imlie reminded the children that Kairi was the youngest and newest member of the group, and therefore they should take extra care of her. The children apologized to Imlie for their actions, and she gave Kairi a tamarind to ease her pain, impressed with her own maturity.
Later, Arto called the camp again, intending to check if there were any problems. However, Chini stopped him from getting too worked up and spoke to Kairi instead. She asked Kairi if she missed her family, to which Kairi responded that she was angry because the other kids had kept her away from Imlie. [Episode End]
Precap : In this scene, Imlie heads to the marketplace to fix Kairi’s guitar. While there, Chini catches sight of her and wonders if she’s seeing things. Arto also spots Imlie and is taken aback by her presence.
