Devika discloses that she initially had no desire to go, but she sensed Arto’s presence, prompting her to change her mind. Expressing her intention to conduct a puja for Arto, she disregards Rudra’s advice against it. Devika asserts that she, too, has the right to make decisions for the family, not solely Rudra. Unbeknownst to Devika, Rudra believes that Arto has forgotten his family and severed ties with them, making a return highly unlikely.
Imlie arrives in Delhi, and shortly after, Kairi awakens. Mistakenly assuming Imlie to be her mother, the driver instructs Kairi to follow her. Meanwhile, the driver moves Imlie’s luggage into the car, and Kairi discreetly climbs into the trunk. Rudra advises Devika to wait for Imlie before proceeding with any religious ceremonies. However, Devika dismisses the idea, showing no concern for Imlie’s absence and disregarding Arto’s wishes. She insists on conducting the puja that very night. Rudra questions Dhairya about Imlie’s whereabouts and discovers that she is intentionally avoiding him due to his betrayal as her friend. Rudra admits his mistake in pressuring Dhairya to hide the truth from Imlie, expressing his deep disappointment in his own actions that caused immense distress to their family.
As Imlie arrives at her home, she notices the nameplate reading “Rana House.” Overwhelmed by the lies she has been told, she contemplates how she will face the Rana family. Stepping inside, she scans her surroundings, unaware of Kairi’s presence. Meanwhile, Chini informs Anu about Kairi’s disappearance. Anu callously remarks that she hopes Kairi is never found, but Chini silences her, emphasizing that both Arto and herself are incomplete without Kairi. Worried, Arto arrives, and Chini shares the news of Kairi’s disappearance, leaving him shocked.
Inside Imlie’s room, Kairi observes as Imlie switches on the lights and gazes at a photo of Arto. Overwhelmed with emotion, Imlie reveals that Devika deeply misses him and has experienced multiple heartaches. Although Arto seems content in his new life, Imlie vows not to let Devika suffer because of him. Tearfully, she sets the photo of Arto aside. Unbeknownst to Imlie, Kairi contemplates whether she can offer any comfort. She opens the window, allowing a gentle breeze to enter the room.
Arto inquires Chini about the meaning behind her statement that Kairi is missing. Just as he is about to depart, Chini reveals that Kairi has been missing since yesterday. This revelation infuriates Arto, as he had explicitly instructed Chini to look after Kairi, but she seemingly failed in her responsibility. Arto, driven by anger, dismisses any attempt from Chini to explain herself, blaming her for neglecting Kairi due to not being her biological mother. He doesn’t allow Chini a chance to speak.
Meanwhile, in her dream, Imlie envisions Arto sitting on the couch. She mistakenly believes that he is not in Goa and expresses her profound love for him, declaring that he means more to her than anything in the world. Imlie pleads with him not to abandon her once again. Soon, she realizes that it is merely a dream and expresses her desire for Arto to stop occupying her thoughts.
In a different scene, Kia raises an alarm, shouting that someone has entered the house upon noticing footprints. Kairi quickly hides in a room while Kia alerts everyone to the potential danger.
