Maaji, worried about Arjun sitting beside Kaashvi, decides to take him along to introduce him to the guests. This relieves Kaashvi.
Nitya reassures Nayantara that they will treat Mahima as their own daughter and asks her not to worry. Nayantara acknowledges that Mahima is fortunate to have a mother-in-law like Nitya. Romila notices Nayantara’s lack of happiness and realizes that Kaashvi has taken Mahima’s place. She inquires about Kaashvi’s whereabouts. Nitya asks Nayantara if Kaashvi is okay, to which Nayantara responds that Kaashvi is resting. Arjun suggests that they shouldn’t disturb Kaashvi since she needs rest.
Romila intends to uncover Kaashvi’s veil, but Maaji intervenes, preventing her from doing so and instructing her to leave the premises. Romila escorts her husband into a room, while her sons fetch some stones. As they gather the stones, Romila explains that the weight will be too much for Kaashvi to handle, resulting in the removal of her veil. She discloses that Kaashvi has taken Mahima’s place and announces her plan to expose her. Instructing her son, Romila places the pot filled with stones in front of Kaashvi.
Nayantara ponders the situation, realizing that if Kaashvi takes the pot, her bandage will be revealed to everyone. Deciding to take action, Nayantara asserts that she will claim the pot due to her “manath” (an inner resolve or desire). Nitya chimes in, stating that she will take Arjun’s pot. Romila informs her husband that a dramatic scene will unfold when Nayantara accidentally drops the pot.
Nayantara ponders over the inexplicable weight of the pot, contemplating why it feels so heavy. Just as she is about to drop it, Samrat steps in and firmly grasps the pot to prevent any mishaps. Curious about Samrat’s presence at this hour, Romila inquires about his unexpected arrival. Samrat explains that he was returning from a party when he stumbled upon the ceremony. Intrigued, he expresses his desire to witness the ceremony, seeking permission from Maaji. Granted the approval, he lifts the pot and questions the reason behind its heaviness. Nitya enlightens him, revealing that the pot is filled with water. Perplexed, Samrat refutes the possibility and astonishingly reveals that the pot is actually filled with stones. The revelation leaves everyone in utter shock.
Samrat and Nayantara proceed to empty the pot, removing the stones. In the meantime, Maaji pulls Romila aside and scolds her for deceitfully filling the pot with stones. Fueled by her determination to not let Nayantara emerge victorious, Romila resorts to threatening her, vowing to expose her in front of everyone. Eventually, they refill the pot with water, and Nayantara continues with the ritual. In a calculated move, Romila causes Kaashvi to stumble, leading Samrat to catch her, only to realize that she is indeed Kaashvi. As the ritual concludes, Arjun’s family departs from the scene. Grateful, Samrat expresses his gratitude to Maaji for her support. Romila’s husband, witnessing yet another failed plan, admonishes her and declares her helplessness in changing the outcome.
