Angad addresses Sahiba, acknowledging his understanding of her dissatisfaction, attributing himself as the cause. He further remarks on Sahiba’s persistent opposition towards him.
Ajith intervenes, putting an end to their argument and reveals to Sahiba that he declined to accept the cheque. Angad queries Ajith about his refusal, citing his position as their son-in-law. Santosh explains that this is precisely why they couldn’t accept the cheque. Sahiba adds a remark about Angad’s arrival with the cheque.
Sahiba receives the check and proceeds to tear it apart, ensuring her family that she will repay the debt and mentioning that she is already headed to the store. Angad reminds Sahiba about Akaal’s instructions to avoid working outside the house. Undeterred, Sahiba assures Angad that she will handle Akaal. This leads to an argument between Sahiba and Angad, as he underestimates the importance of her family. Sahiba points out that he took her family lightly by arriving with the check, and in response, she tears it apart.
In the kitchen, Seerat enters and greets the servants. She expresses her need for some ingredients to make Suji Ka Halwa. Sukhdeep responds, stating that they will serve breakfast first and then provide the ingredients to Seerat.

Angad, perplexed by Akaal’s reaction, asked him what he had done wrong. Akaal, understanding the situation, replied to Sahiba that he would have done the same if he were in Angad’s position. Sahiba, determined to take care of her family, expressed her intention to work in order to repay the debt.
Hansraj, curious about Sahiba’s plan, questioned her about how she intended to earn twenty lakhs. Sahiba confidently replied that she would find a job. Akaal reminded Sahiba of the traditional values held by the Brar family, stating that the women in their family don’t work, thus ending the argument. However, Sahiba insisted that the argument wasn’t over and stated her need to work in order to repay the debt.
Manveer and Seerat advised Sahiba to seek Angad’s help. Sahiba engaged in a heated argument with Manveer, questioning why women couldn’t work. Veer also supported Sahiba’s viewpoint. Akaal confirmed with Sahiba that she would have a problem if Angad repaid the debt, as it would hurt her self-respect. However, Sahiba argued that it wouldn’t affect her self-respect if she repaid the debt with her own earnings. Sensing a solution to the problem, Akaal informed Angad that he had an idea. Angad, intrigued, asked Akaal to share his plan.
