However, Dadi harshly criticizes Gazal for disregarding traditions and questions whether she is mocking them. Dadi further challenges her, asking who will bear the expenses for these new additions. Gazal calmly explains that she conducted interviews to select the individuals who are most skilled in cooking and laundry. Nonetheless, Dadi’s frustration boils over as she berates Gazal, labeling her as foolish and questioning why Haider married her in the first place.
Hina, joining the conversation, opines that appointing so many servants in the house is excessive and unnecessary. Gazal defends her decision, emphasizing the importance of having them to prevent Dua from taking advantage of her and denying her much-needed rest. Dadi and Gulnaaz praise Dua, and Gazal asserts her ownership, stating that she is the true authority, not Dua. The servants insult Gazal, comparing her to slippers, and humiliate her, accusing her of trying to ruin Dua’s life. They refuse to work for her, deeming it sinful. Gazal reacts by harshly berating them and suggesting they starve if they refuse to work. In a fit of anger, Dua slaps Gazal.
