Leela walks out of Vanraj’s ICU room with Hasmukh and tells Anupama that Vanraj wants to meet her. Hasmukh advises against it if she doesn’t want to, but Leela thinks she should since she’s already there. Vanraj hopes Anupama will come, and she does. Upon her arrival, Vanraj expresses his gratitude and admits that Kavya left him, but he doesn’t blame her. He acknowledges that he made numerous mistakes in his life, including not valuing relationships and failing to give Anupama and Kavya the respect they deserve. He reflects on the unpredictability of life and how he never thought he would have a heart attack, but now his heart beats for Anupama. He apologizes for everything and acknowledges that Anupama may not believe him. Anupama reminds him that Kavya didn’t leave on her own but was forced to do so by Vanraj. She encourages him to move on and forget about the past. As Vanraj continues to speak, his heart rate becomes irregular, prompting Anupama to ask him to rest and stop talking. She walks away, and Vanraj thanks her.
Leela prays to God for her son’s speedy recovery at home. She asks Hasmukh if he received a call from Samar, but he replies in the negative. Leela acknowledges that Hasmukh was right about Anupama being their family’s Laxmi and that they were wrong to mistreat her, which has led to their current situation. She acknowledges that her son is a good son, father, and brother, but Hasmukh points out that Vanraj is not a good husband and is facing the consequences of his actions. Hasmukh also reminds Leela that she tends to revert to her old ways once things are back to normal, and that Anupama will never accept Vanraj since both of them are in the wrong. Leela agrees that she is wrong but not completely, and that thinking of the family’s happiness is not a bad thing.
Meanwhile, at the hospital, Pakhi breaks down thinking about Vanraj’s condition, and Samar consoles her. Toshu expresses his regrets for causing trouble to their father and acknowledges that he has been a disappointment. Pakhi also confesses to having hurt their father. They all embrace and accept that they haven’t been good children to their parents. Kinjal joins them and wipes their tears, remarking that she sees three cute kids crying for their father. She reminds them that they should strive to make their parents happy. Pakhi brings up Anuj and how her mother’s happiness lies with him, but Toshu points out that Anuj is missing. Samar reveals that he tried to contact Anuj but couldn’t get through. Kinjal is worried that Maaya may have done something to him and suggests that they ask Devika to find out what happened. Kinjal reminds them that they need to be a support system for their parents and help them through this difficult time.
Kanta informs Bhavesh that she spoke with Devika earlier today. Devika and Dheeraj are clueless about Anuj’s whereabouts. Kanta prays for Anuj’s safety and well-being. Upon hearing Anupama’s approach, Kanta requests that they not mention Anuj in front of her, as Anupama is more anxious about Anuj. An exhausted Anupama sits down on the sofa, and Kanta fans her while inquiring about Vanraj’s health. Anupama replies that Vanraj suffered a minor heart attack and will be returning home in a few days. Bhavesh goes to get lemonade for Anupama. Kanta laments how fate is leading her towards someone she shouldn’t be with and taking away someone she should be with. Anupama clarifies that she went to see Vanraj only for her children and Hasmukh, and that she doesn’t need Vanraj or Anuj now. The following day, Vanraj returns home, and Leela performs his aarti. The family advises him to rest, but Vanraj insists on working to support the family. Anupama agrees with him, realizing that responsibilities never let a person rest. Leela tells Samar and Toshu to conceal their father’s laptop and then instructs Vanraj to come in.
Vanraj asks Anupama to join him. Leela advises Anupama not to worry too much because they are all family. Anupama hesitantly enters the room, and Pakhi and Samar present a greeting to Vanraj. Leela asks Anupama to cook khichdi for Vanraj, but Anupama refuses. Leela then says she will make tea for everyone and heads to the kitchen. The entire family leaves, leaving Vanraj and Anupama alone. Anupama attempts to leave, but Vanraj implores her to stay and admits that he is afraid after his heart attack that something might happen to him. Anupama urges him not to speak like that. Vanraj shares his concern for his parents and children, stating that if he dies, his parents will not be around. He trusts only Anupama and requests a promise from her.
