The episode begins with Maitree preparing for her wedding. Sadhna admires Maitree’s beauty and places a black tika behind her ear. She informs Maitree that the wedding procession, or Baarat, has arrived and she needs to go and receive them. Maitree agrees and Sadhna leaves the room. Maitree, however, feels concerned as she realizes she hasn’t had a chance to meet Sona and senses that something ominous might happen.
Nandini approaches Sona and asks if she knows who Maitree is marrying. Sona dismissively responds, which prompts Nandini to show her the family photos of Harsh Pandit. Sona is taken aback by what she sees.
In the meantime, Harsh enters Maitree’s room and tries to uplift her spirits. Maitree confides in him, expressing her fear of an impending danger. Harsh assures her that they can face any challenge together, and Maitree agrees to trust him.
Nandini reveals that Harsh Pandit is, in fact, her husband and the son of his second wife, Kamna Tiwari. Nandini frightens Sona by suggesting that Maitree might bring Kamna to the household, potentially jeopardizing their family’s reputation. Sona commends Nandini for alerting her and vows to destroy anyone who tries to tarnish her family’s honor.
Harsh made a heartfelt promise to Maitree, assuring her that he would never leave her side in life. Curious, Maitree questioned why he had come to her room. Harsh explained that the Pandit had called for her, but since she hadn’t responded, he took it upon himself to bring her to the mandap. Meanwhile, Sona instructed her men to load the items into the car, and they obediently placed them inside. Just as they were about to leave, Nandini arrived and urged them to hurry as they were running late. Sona concurred, and Ashish happened to catch a glimpse of them through the window. As the wedding rituals between Harsh and Maitree commenced, the Pandit instructed them to stand up for the Pheras. With intertwined hands, they stood together, ready to embark on their sacred journey. Suddenly, the weather took a drastic turn, causing Maitree to anxiously protect her nuptial knot from the flames. Meanwhile, Ashish pondered the hasty departure of Nandini and Sona.
Once the Pheras were completed, Harsh lovingly adorned Maitree’s neck with the nuptial chain and applied Sindoor on her forehead, symbolizing their marital union. The Pandit declared their marriage as complete, and Maitree and Harsh sought blessings from their elders, embracing their new life together.
Kamna expresses her joy at having a daughter like Maitree, emphasizing her happiness. Sona arrives with Nandini and kindly requests Maitree to seek her blessings as well. Curiously, Sadhna asks Dinesh if he invited Sona, to which Dinesh replies negatively. Sona then reminds Maitree that she was previously married to her son, which is why she feels responsible as her mother-in-law. She offers money and jewelry to Maitree, intending to fulfill her obligations. Unfortunately, her words take a hurtful turn as she begins to belittle Maitree, accusing her of greediness. She proceeds to disrespectfully throw money at Maitree while criticizing her moral values. This unexpected behavior leaves everyone in the room shocked.
