The episode begins with Rhea hearing the doorbell ring. Assuming it’s Khushi, she rushes to answer it. However, it’s Vikram at the door who expresses his love for his grandchild more than his own son, to which Pallavi responds. Just then, Ranbir and Khushi enter the house looking worried and ask Rhea to close the door. The family members inquire about the reason for their tense appearance, and Ranbir reveals that the orphanage people have filed a police complaint about Khushi’s disappearance. The police are now searching for her, which leaves everyone anxious.
Rhea points out the seriousness of the situation, saying that the police could arrest them if they learn that they have been hiding Khushi illegally. She suggests informing Prachi to help them get bail if they all get arrested. However, Ranbir promises Khushi that he will bring her back from the orphanage and asks her to stay there for a few days. Khushi, feeling scared, refuses to go to the orphanage, even for a day. In the midst of this, Daljeet suggests that Ranbir takes anticipatory bail to avoid any legal trouble.
In the given scenario, Khushi expresses her desire to be sent to Prachi’s house instead of the place where Ranbir intends to send her. This news shocks everyone present. Meera informs Prachi that Ranbir also tried to adopt Khushi but was denied, after which he threatened to sue them. Later, Ranbir asks Khushi if Prachi had come to adopt her. Khushi affirms this and says that Prachi indeed wants to adopt her. While Prachi walks on the road, she sarcastically praises Ranbir for being one step ahead of everyone else, as he knew that Panchi was actually Khushi but had kept the truth hidden from her. Ranbir defends himself by saying that Prachi knew the truth too but had not revealed it to him, leaving him feeling guilty for hiding the truth. Rhea points out that Prachi might not be aware of the complete truth and that she might have at least informed them if she had known anything.
Prachi hired a taxi and was followed by Avni in another cab. Prachi was surprised that even Rhea didn’t tell her something. Rainbow mentioned that Prachi didn’t express any interest in adopting Khushi. Rhea questioned Ranbir about his expectations for Prachi to share their changed relationship status with him. Ranbir insisted that their relationship was the same as before. However, Rhea urged him to consider Prachi’s perspective and not to get angry with her, reminding him that she is a good person. Khushi supported Rhea’s point of view, sharing her love for Prachi. Suddenly, they heard a calling bell sound and Khushi hugged Pallavi and Dida, requesting them to hide her. Dida took Khushi inside and Ranbir told everyone to act normally.
As Dadi and Shahana searched for Prachi near the station, Avni called Meera and informed her that Prachi was at Ranbir’s house and suspected that Khushi was with her. Meera decided to go there and saw Dadi searching for Prachi. She informed Dadi that Prachi was at Ranbir’s place and invited them to come with her. Meanwhile, Prachi expressed her frustration to Ranbir that she couldn’t find Khushi. Ranbir tried to console her, saying that they couldn’t always get what they wanted and should be content with what they have. Prachi questioned Ranbir’s intentions, wondering if he was trying to deceive her or if he was innocent. Ranbir denied both accusations, and Prachi urged him to do the right thing instead of betraying her trust.
