The episode commences with Akshay making a promise to Prachi that he will find Khushi within a day for her. He encourages Prachi to give the system a chance, assuring her that if it doesn’t work out, they will take a stand against it. Akshay urges Prachi not to stress herself out, and together, they depart from the scene.
Meanwhile, Ranbir reflects on his previous actions and feels a deep sense of remorse for his hurtful words towards Prachi. Determined to make amends, he decides to reach out to her and have a conversation. Simultaneously, Rhea receives a phone call from someone at the orphanage, informing her that Prachi has arrived there. Rhea wastes no time in sharing this information with the Kohli family.
Pallavi recollects the recent events and jumps to the conclusion that Prachi went to the orphanage to adopt Khushi. Frustrated with Prachi, she complains about her to Ranbir. However, Ranbir stands up for Prachi, defending her actions. Vikram warns Ranbir about developing a soft spot for Prachi, as he fears she might take Khushi away from him. Ranbir vehemently asserts that he will not let that happen.
Driven by curiosity, Ranbir decides to pay a visit to the orphanage to investigate Prachi’s intentions. Rhea, too, follows him, eager to find out what Prachi is up to.
Ranbir arrives at the orphanage and witnesses Prachi engaged in a heated argument with Meera. Approaching them, Ranbir expresses his desire to adopt Khushi. However, Meera dismisses their request for adoption. Determined, Prachi and Ranbir attempt to persuade Meera to reconsider and entrust Khushi to them. Meera proposes a condition to Ranbir and Prachi, stating that she will grant custody to the one who gets married first. Prachi, upon hearing this, abruptly departs from the scene.
Meanwhile, Akshay questions Rhea about her presence there. Rhea explains that she came to donate to the orphanage. Upon receiving a message from Prachi, Akshay swiftly leaves. Grateful, Rhea expresses her gratitude to Akshay for separating Prachi from Ranbir.
In another setting, Pallavi expresses her discontent with Prachi’s attempt to take Khushi away from their family. Vikram resolves to fight for Khushi’s custody through legal means. Rhea reminds Vikram about Ranbir’s reluctance to disclose Khushi’s true identity to Prachi, warning that Prachi would go to great lengths to gain custody if she were to find out. Pallavi proposes that Rhea consider marrying Ranbir as a potential solution.
Prachi arrives at her house accompanied by Akshay, and she confides in Dadi about Meera’s refusal to allow her to adopt Khushi. Dadi questions Prachi as to why she hasn’t disclosed the truth to Meera, that Khushi is her own biological daughter whom she lost when she was born. Prachi admits that she doesn’t want Ranbir to find out that she’s aware of Khushi’s true identity. Akshay is taken aback by this revelation.
Meanwhile, Ranbir approaches Pallavi and expresses his frustration over Meera’s reluctance to hand over Khushi to him. Rhea seizes the opportunity and asks Ranbir if he would marry her. Similarly, Akshay questions Prachi about her willingness to marry him. Vikram persuades Ranbir that marrying Rhea is the right decision for him, while Dadi does the same with Prachi, convincing her to marry Akshay. Prachi recalls Meera’s words and reluctantly agrees to Akshay’s proposal. Ranbir also decides to marry Rhea.
Later, Prachi visits the orphanage to see Khushi but is disappointed to find the doors closed. She shares her disappointment with Shahana, who tries to reassure her. Suddenly, the doors open, and Ranbir emerges from the orphanage. Upon seeing Prachi, he realizes that she came to meet Khushi. Prachi, too, understands that Ranbir has the same intention.
To seek refuge from the rain, Ranbir and Prachi coincidentally end up at the same shelter. As they take shelter together, their minds drift back to the memories they shared in the past.
