In today’s episode, Manish confronts Manjiri regarding her disapproval of Akshara and Abhinav’s relationship. Manish directly asks Manjiri about the specific issues she has with Akshara and Abhinav. He questions whether her concerns stem from Abhir referring to Abhinav as his father, or if it’s because Abhinav isn’t wealthy, or perhaps because of Akshara’s upbringing. Manish emphasizes that Abhinav accepted Manjiri, but she showed him disrespect in return. He further points out that even Abhimanyu, their son, is unable to make eye contact, and Manjiri should have considered her son’s well-being. Manish urges Manjiri to speak up and explain herself.
Swarna intervenes and asks Manjiri why she remains silent, despite the fact that they have always ensured her happiness. Eventually, Manjiri responds, refusing to provide any explanation. This prompts Manish to lecture her sternly. However, Manjiri maintains that she hasn’t said anything wrong. She firmly believes that Akshara, Abhimanyu, and Abhir constitute a perfect family. Manjiri explains that in the future, they will all have to come together for Abhir’s sake, even if others perceive her as the antagonist. She explains that she also considers Abhir, who is currently suffering as a young child. Manjiri predicts that while Abhinav may be a good person, he will eventually leave behind Akshara and Abhir, causing even greater pain. She remains resolute in her decision and asserts that Akshara, Abhimanyu, and Abhir form an ideal family unit.
Akshara interrupted Manjiri, expressing her unwillingness to be a part of what she considered a perfect family. She vividly recalled the painful memories of being thrown out by Manjiri and Abhimanyu in the past. Akshara feared that if she made any mistakes in the future, Manjiri would once again disown her, just as she had done before. In addition, Akshara bravely confessed her love for Abhinav and emphasized her happiness in her own world. She confronted Manjiri, questioning where she fit into the family now that Arohi, Abhimanyu, and Ruhi seemed to complete it.
Responding to Manjiri’s remarks, Akshara delivered a fitting retort. Manjiri acknowledged Akshara’s maturity and revealed that she had filed for custody based on that belief. She also disclosed that Abhimanyu did not desire custody. Abhinav interjected, expressing his willingness to reveal the truth to Abhir. However, Manjiri insisted that even if he spoke the truth, it would not benefit Abhimanyu. Trying to calm Manjiri down, Abhimanyu intervened. Meanwhile, Manish advised Abhinav not to continue yielding and made the decision to file for custody.
Eventually, Manjiri agreed to the custody arrangement. Manish made an announcement, stating that if Abhimanyu won the case, they would inform Abhir about his true father. However, if Akshara and Abhinav were victorious, it was clear that the child would not learn the truth. Manjiri accepted the challenge on behalf of Abhimanyu, solidifying her commitment to the custody battle.
