The episode begins with Aparajita writing the initials of the bride and groom on each other’s hands. ACP Kabir notices Chavi. Kalpana tries to dance with Dadi. Suddenly, Kalpana receives a video call from Mohini. Mohini tells Kalpana that she didn’t do what Mohini asked her to do, so she will take Shubham away from her. Mohini shows Kalpana Shubham’s boarding pass and tells her to enjoy the function before ending the call. Aparajita overhears the conversation between Kalpana and Mohini.
Aparajita asks Kalpana why she didn’t tell anyone that Mohini kidnapped Shubham. Aparajita shares her suspicion with Kalpana and asks how Mohini can take Shubham out of the country. Kalpana explains that Mohini can take Shubham out of the country because she is Shubham’s biological mother. Aparajita is shocked to hear this. Kalpana reveals that her husband’s family wanted to have a child through another woman’s marriage, as she was unable to conceive. So she approached Mohini for help.
Mohini gave her child to Kalpana. Aparajita asks Kalpana if Akshay knew about this. Kalpana confirms that Akshay was aware of it and had asked her to keep it a secret. Aparajita remembers Mohini reminding Akshay about the sacrifices she had made. Aparajita realizes that this is the reason why Akshay was with Mohini all these years. Aparajita asks Kalpana why they didn’t make adoption papers if both parents agreed.
