In the opening scene, Nain contacts Mahima and hands her some money to purchase a mobile phone. However, Nain becomes anxious after realizing that the money she gave Mahima was originally intended for Kashvi’s admission fees. Meanwhile, Samrat and Pratyuman are enjoying some drinks in the evening when Samrat questions Pratyuman about his decision to award Jena Garments as the winners of an exhibition, even though other contestants deserved it more. Pratyuman admits to Samrat that the winner was pre-decided, and he did it to avoid any future conflicts with the owner of Jena Garments. Pratyuman considers it a normal business tactic, but Samrat disagrees and asserts that they could always resort to legal action if Jena Garments caused any trouble. Samrat decides to focus on helping Kashvi, despite the financial setback.
Kashvi had just returned from Samrat’s house and was sharing with her friend Nain how she had spoken with Samrat and convinced him to look into a certain issue. As she recounted the conversation, she turned away from Nain and began to cry. After a few moments, Kashvi noticed that Nain was also in tears. Worried, Kashvi asked Nain what was wrong.
Nain responded by asking if Kashvi thought that she favored Mahima over her. Kashvi assured her that she had never thought such a thing. When Kashvi inquired as to why Nain was upset, Nain revealed that she had spent the money she had saved for Kashvi’s expenses on a new phone for Mahima. Nain felt guilty for her actions.
However, Kashvi assured Nain that it wasn’t a problem at all and that she didn’t mind. She promised to find a part-time job and save enough money for her admission, or she could take a gap year and join later.
As Kashvi lay in bed at night, gazing at a photo of Arjun, she found herself speaking to him, hoping that he would propose to her soon. If he didn’t, she would consider proposing to him instead. Meanwhile, Arjun was also speaking to a photo of someone he loved, Mahima, and was eager to propose to her.
The following morning, Mahima went to a mobile shop to purchase a new phone. She found a phone that she really liked, but it was quite expensive. To negotiate a better price, Mahima purposely scratched the back of the phone and asked a sales executive to reduce the price of the used phone. Unfortunately, the sales executive had seen her tampering with the phone on CCTV and began shouting at her.
Just as the situation was getting out of hand, Pratyuman arrived and intervened, scolding the sales executive for his behavior towards Mahima. He refused to make any purchases from a shop that didn’t treat women with respect. Pratyuman then offered Mahima a lift in his car.
Arjun was waiting at the coaching centre to take admission with Kashvi. When she arrived, she told him that she didn’t have the money to pay for her admission. Arjun couldn’t reveal his true motive – he wanted Kashvi to join the coaching centre so that he could go to Mahima’s house. Instead, he convinced Kashvi to take admission by telling her that she wouldn’t be able to taste Nain’s delicious parathas if she didn’t join.
As they were discussing this, Kashvi noticed a notice for a librarian position at the coaching centre. She was thrilled because it meant she could work there and earn enough money to pay for her admission.
Meanwhile, Nitya called Nain and asked her to meet outside her shop. Nitya shared with Nain that she had rediscovered her teenage crush. Nain assumed it was Nitya’s husband, but Nitya explained that it was someone else and that her husband was aware of it.
While they were chatting outside the shop, Samrat entered, which surprised Nain’s sister-in-law.
