Nehmat recalls the distressing threats she received from Jasmine. Ekam berates Nehmat for lying to him. Despite Nehmat’s desperate pleas for forgiveness and to put the incident behind them, Ekam is determined not to spare the person who ruined his life. Ekam finds it unfathomable how Nehmat left him without uttering a word. Ignoring Nehmat’s requests, Ekam gets into his car and sets off to confront Jasmine.
From behind, Nehmat whispers the name of Jasmine, the one capable of accomplishing anything and everything if questioned. Ekam rejoins Nehmat, observing the tearful state she’s in, which dispels all of Ekam’s doubts and reveals the truth with crystal clarity. He places blame upon himself for becoming blind to such a simple fact. As Nehmat utters Jasmine’s name, the confirmation emerges that Jasmine’s involvement was the cause of their separation. The more Nehmat urges Ekam to forget the issue, the more he resists, vowing to eliminate that wicked woman.
Sartraj contacts a gynecologist and discusses Nehmat’s pregnancy. The news reaches Ekam’s mother, leaving her utterly shocked and dumbfounded, as she realizes that Ekam might be the father of Nehmat’s child. She inquires whether Ekam is aware of this truth, but Sartraj explains that even Nehmat herself is unaware of her pregnancy. Sartraj avoids pressuring Nehmat, allowing her the freedom to comprehend her own situation. Although Sartraj attempts to conceal his own feelings, Ekam’s mother discerns the affection he harbors for Nehmat in his eyes. Sartraj seeks confirmation from her, requesting that she keep it a secret.
Nehmat inquires of Ekam whether he would ever betray Harleen, unaware that it is not Harleen who would be betrayed. Instead, it was Ekam who had been shattered by both Harleen and Jasmine. Their wickedness had shattered his dreams and extinguished his hopes for a fulfilling life. Overwhelmed by despair, Ekam collapses to the ground, consumed by his tears.
Nehmat presents Ekam with the reasoning that Harleen was entirely blameless in this situation. He explains how she had been coerced and threatened by Jasmine. If Harleen had refused to marry Ekam, Jasmine would have undoubtedly ruined their future together. Nehmat questions Ekam, asking what he would have done had he been in Harleen’s position, facing the same circumstances. Ekam responds that he would have definitely sought Harleen’s counsel. Although Ekam harbors doubts about Harleen, Nehmat clarifies that she is not at fault. Harleen had made every effort to bring them together, but fate had dictated that they were not meant to be married. Nehmat asserts that Harleen is a divine blessing, bestowed upon them by a higher power.
However, Ekam adamantly declares that he does not desire the blessing of the Almighty. He simply yearns to lead his own life, guided solely by the desires of his own heart.
