To Harleen’s surprise, he mentions Nehmat’s name, further confusing her. As time passes, Ekam reveals his intention to invite all the family members, with a special emphasis on Nehmat, for a grand lunch tomorrow. Harleen feels increasingly fatigued by Ekam’s strange behavior and endeavors to fathom the underlying reasons behind it all. Curiosity piqued, she questions Ekam about his motivation for inviting Nehmat, but he evades a direct response and insists on including her. Concerned for Ekam’s well-being, Harleen implores him not to harm himself.
Meanwhile, Nehmat ponders over Ekam, filled with remorse over the recent events. She also fears that the incident may have given Ekam a false impression that she harbors romantic feelings for Sartraj. In the midst of Nehmat’s contemplation, Harleen approaches her and discloses the upcoming party. Bewildered, Nehmat seeks an explanation. Harleen implores Nehmat to attend the gathering and cautions her against causing any disturbances among the guests, as it may deeply affect Ekam. These words leave Nehmat speechless. The next day, all the guests assemble at Ekam’s residence, and rumors and gossip about the sudden lunch invitation circulate among them. Ekam warmly welcomes Nehmat and Sartraj to the event.
