The scene begins with Harleen tossing the property papers in front of Nehmat, who looks bewildered. Harleen tells Nehmat that she desired the property so much that she even gave her own share to her. Harleen then orders Nehmat to leave, reprimanding her for hurting the Sandhus and Ekam. She admits to hating Nehmat for her actions. Despite Harleen’s demand to leave, Nehmat refuses to budge. Harleen warns Nehmat to stay away from Ekam, who is her husband. She asserts that she would do anything to safeguard Ekam, and right now, she needs to protect him from Nehmat. Harleen reminds Nehmat of her willingness to abandon Ekam for her in the past, even after becoming engaged to him. She declares that Nehmat will witness her craze from now on.
Meanwhile, the villagers are pressuring Rupy to expel Nehmat from the house, but Sartaj arrives on the scene. Initially, Sartaj agrees with the villagers, but Nehmat refuses to leave, which comes as a shock to Harleen. Harleen regrets ever considering Nehmat to be her sister and is dismayed when Nehmat asks her to leave upon realizing her true nature. Harleen lashes out at Nehmat, accusing her of abandoning Naaz out of cunningness and being motivated by greed for the land. She admonishes Nehmat, telling her to be ashamed of herself, and storms off, leaving Nehmat to tear up the land papers.
Curious about Sartaj’s identity, the villagers ask him who he is. Sartaj reveals that he brought Nehmat back home and intends to marry her. He questions Rupy’s decision to listen to the villagers and taunts them for speaking ill of Nehmat just because she doesn’t follow their rules. He asserts that the village has no right to interfere in the family matters of others and orders them to leave.
Jasmine and Harleen bump into each other outside the Sandhus’ house, and Jasmine wastes no time in questioning Harleen about whether she’s seen Nehmat’s true intentions. Jasmine accuses Nehmat of returning solely to lay claim to the entire property, and continues to provoke Harleen against her. Despite Harleen’s pleas for her to stop, Jasmine persists and warns her that she’ll regret not listening to her later on. Jasmine goes on to claim that Nehmat only came back for Ekam, and that her relationship with Sartaj is just a façade to deceive everyone.
Meanwhile, Naaz is eager to get in touch with Rupy as her family has plans for post-wedding rituals. However, she is anxious as Rupy hasn’t been responding to her calls. Balveer questions Naaz about her desire to attend the rituals, and she reveals that she wants to see the reactions of those who have been hurt by Nehmat’s true motives. Balveer advises Naaz to ensure that she secures a portion of the property for herself. Although Balveer offers to drop Naaz at the Sandhus’ house, she requests that Ekam accompany her instead.
Rupy is feeling sorrowful as she recalls Nehmat claiming her rights to the property and Renuka’s hurtful comments. She wishes that she could have passed away before witnessing such a painful day. Sartaj tries to console Rupy by reminding her that Nehmat used to appreciate her for her bravery. He assures Rupy that he will do everything in his power to preserve her reputation from now on.
Meanwhile, Nehmat, filled with anger and regret, takes her clothes to wash and blames herself for causing pain to everyone. On the other hand, Ekam initially refuses to take Naaz to her house first, but later changes his mind, realizing it is an opportunity to seek answers to his questions from Nehmat.
