Meanwhile, Sartaj is busy making arrangements for Balveer and Naaz’s post-wedding celebration. Renuka notices Sartaj’s work and asks Balveer what he is doing. Balveer expresses his disappointment with Sartaj’s decision to pursue farming despite his medical degree. He also wonders how he ended up with Nehmat as his fiancee. Renuka suggests that Balveer find out more about the situation.
Sartaj affectionately addresses Naaz as his mother and requests the mehndi artist to adorn her hand with intricate designs. Meanwhile, Harleen approaches Sartaj and draws him aside to discuss Nehmat. Jasmine covertly observes Nehmat and Ekam from a concealed location, unable to hear their conversation. Harleen expresses her concern to Sartaj regarding his plan to take Nehmat with him and reprimands him for bringing Nehmat to this place, causing pain to Ekam. Sartaj maintains his position, stating that he will leave when he is ready to do so.
In this scenario, Ekam directs questions to Nehmat, while Harleen pleads with Sartaj to take Nehmat away quickly for Ekam’s benefit. Despite Sartaj’s inquiries, Harleen refuses to disclose any further details. Ekam, on the other hand, interrogates Nehmat about her reasons for returning and her association with Sartaj, leaving her feeling helpless and unable to respond. In frustration, Ekam yells at Nehmat, demanding to know what she desires. At this point, Sartaj arrives and declares that Nehmat is his fiancée and that she wants only him. He asks Ekam if there is an issue with that, and Ekam denies any problem. Sartaj then requests Ekam to leave, and Ekam departs. Nehmat breaks down in tears, and Sartaj provides her with a handkerchief. He encourages Nehmat to take it as he is her faux fiancé, and advises her to put her worries aside. He makes a lighthearted comment, suggesting that she should play her role well as his fiancée.
Naaz expressed her satisfaction to Balveer regarding Sartaj’s arrangements for their post-wedding celebration. However, Balveer warned Naaz about Sartaj, implying that he may have something unpleasant in store. Naaz brushed off Balveer’s warning, believing that she could handle any drama that may arise when Ekam, Nehmat, and Harleen are in the same place.
As expected, Nehmat and the Sandhus arrived, and Harleen welcomed them. Harleen noticed that Ekam became uneasy upon seeing Nehmat and subsequently walked away. Harleen approached Ekam and suggested that he go out and have some fun.
Unfortunately, Sartaj arrived with Nehmat and disrupted the plans. Sartaj declared that no one was going anywhere, which foreshadowed further conflict.
Ekam became emotional upon seeing Nehmat and he instinctively removed Harleen’s hand from his. Sartaj attempted to lighten the mood by reciting a shaayari and encouraging Ekam and Harleen to hold hands. However, Sartaj also questioned Ekam’s decision to get a tattoo of his fiancee’s name on his hand, warning him that relationships can be fragile and that a girl may leave at any moment. In response, Nehmat recalled her promise to never leave Ekam and made an excuse to leave the conversation.
Naaz gives a glass of juice to Nehmat and taunts her, to which Nehmat agrees. Later, Naaz remembers that she had mixed drugs in the drink. Nehmat drinks it all in one sip, and Naaz grins, anticipating the effect of the drug on her. Meanwhile, Nehmat breaks down, thinking about the moment when she called off her wedding with Ekam. Ekam comforts her by placing his hand on her shoulder, and Nehmat cries, repeatedly apologizing. Ekam reassures her that she can never hate him and can refuse to marry him. He then asks Nehmat to tell him the real reason behind her refusal, to which she mentions Jasmine, leaving Ekam shocked.
