The episode commences with Dua expressing to Hina that her actions have exceeded the limit. If Hina dares, then she should send Dua out, and she will demonstrate the strength bestowed upon her by God. Hina, in response, instructs Dua to leave the house. Dua retorts that if she departs from this house, she will also forfeit her rights to her son. He is attempting to bestow those rights upon another woman. However, why should she leave? Her presence in this house is justified by her father’s immense efforts within it. She possesses more rights in this house than anyone else. Doesn’t Hina often mention Haider’s humble beginnings of selling clothes on bicycles? If it weren’t for her father’s assistance, he might still be in the same predicament. Doesn’t Hina frequently advocate for her own rights? Therefore, she too holds equal rights in this house. She brings joy and happiness to this household. While she was preoccupied with shedding tears for Gulnaaz, she proudly stated that Haider showered Noor and Kaynaat with his father’s love. Yet, she seemed to have forgotten one crucial aspect—that Dua also bestowed upon them the love of their mother. She doesn’t concern herself with anything else. Even before her marriage, she assumed the role of their mother and transformed this house into a paradise. However, Haider’s other wife shattered her heaven, and thus, she has every right to question it. So, why should she be the one to leave? Hina addresses everyone, claiming that Dua is deliberately creating a scene. She wonders why they are all remaining silent without responding to her. Rahat questions Hina about what she expects them to do. Hameeda has silenced them all, and if Dua were to speak up, she would lose whatever pride remains. Gazal directs her inquiry to Haider, asking why he is staying silent. Hina is being insulted, yet he fails to react to anything happening here.
Hina weeps in front of Haider and accuses him of allowing Dua to insult her. She implores him to silence her. However, Haider advises Hina to let Dua express herself. In response, Hina warns Haider that if Dua continues to insult her, she would rather die. Dua interjects, urging Hina to cease her dramatics. Hina informs Haider that his wife claimed Hina was the one engaging in a charade. Dua questions Hina, asking which wife she is referring to. Her relationship with Haider is over. He was never her husband, and she no longer has any connection to him since Haider brought Gazal, a cheap woman, into his life. Haider is taken aback by this revelation. Hina asserts that she has no relationship with him, so why is Dua still residing there? She advises Dua to leave. Dua clarifies that she is not there to sustain her relationship with Haider but to sever it.
Hina accuses Dua of lacking shame. Dua is openly insulting her in front of everyone, yet Haider remains silent. Hina reminds Haider that she is his mother. Dua retaliates, asserting that Hina is facing the consequences of her actions. She will have to endure further hardships with her new daughter-in-law. Hina argues that she is speaking to her son. Dua questions Hina’s expectations, asking what she expects him to say. Haider has destroyed everything. Why should she anticipate any reaction from him? Dua acknowledges that Haider witnessed Hina’s lifelong anguish over her co-wife, but he now finds amusement in Hina’s pain. Dua still believes that Haider hasn’t lost his humanity, but her hope has been shattered. Hina realizes that she was the one who fell before Haider’s eyes, while he laughed at her suffering. If Haider were to react, he would understand that he married again and brought another woman into their home for that purpose.
Hina pleads with Dua to put an end to their argument. Dua shouts back, urging Hina to stop being so loud because her shouting won’t hide the truth. Hina had to confront the reality of it all. Hina sarcastically compliments Hameeda for creating divisions within the family and mocks Dua’s upbringing, accusing her of disrespecting her elders. Dua responds by stating that respect should be earned based on good deeds, not simply age. She wasn’t taught to treat elders in such a manner, but Hina’s actions influenced her behavior. Dua asserts her right to fight for her rights within this house, emphasizing that if Hameeda hadn’t taught her to do so, the family would have fallen apart. Hina had once made her understand that even elderly individuals can make mistakes. Although Hina may be older in age, her actions don’t reflect it. Dua expresses that today, Hina witnessed her own downfall, losing the respect Dua once held for her in her heart. Hina was the one who taught her to wear the headscarf (dupatta) as part of their family tradition, believing it was a sign of respect towards Hina. She even received a lecture from her own son about it.
Dua proclaims that Hina is no longer her mother-in-law or mother figure. She states that Dua has overcome her fear and is no longer afraid of anyone in the house. Dua removes the headscarf from her head, leaving everyone shocked by her actions. Instead, she drapes it over her shoulder. Hameeda feels a sense of pride in Dua’s defiance.
Rahat expresses his concern over how Dua’s animosity is burning traditional values. Hameeda instructs the band to play music, celebrating her daughter’s victory. Hafeez admits his fear of how Dua will face the aftermath of this conflict. Dadi prays to God to grant Dua even more strength. Gazal confronts Dua, questioning how she dared to speak to Hina in that manner. Dua responds by asking Gazal if she still considers Haider to be hers. Haider loved Dua and brought her into his home. If Haider could do this to the woman he loved dearly, Gazal can only imagine her own place. Haider married Gazal without any other option. Dua lived with him for three years, and although Haider treated her poorly, Gazal can only imagine her place in Haider’s life after just three days of being with him. Dua hopes that Haider remains devoted to Gazal alone because he doesn’t deserve Dua. She prays that Gazal will experience both the joys and troubles in Haider’s life from now on.
