The episode begins with Ravi and Pratiksha waking up together in bed. Ravi greeted Pratiksha with a warm “good morning” and suddenly realized that they were sleeping very close to each other. Surprised, Ravi accused Pratiksha of removing the pillows that separated them during the night. Playfully, they engaged in a pillow fight before Pratiksha eventually got out of bed.
Downstairs, Dadi informed Pratiksha about a post-marriage tradition where the daughter-in-law prepares something sweet in the kitchen (rasoi). Dadi requested Pratiksha to make halwa (a sweet dish) for her. Moreover, Dadi mentioned that upon completing the task, she would gift Pratiksha a nath (traditional nose ring). To assist Pratiksha, Nupur was sent along with her.
Meanwhile, Mandip informed Dadi that Kavya was originally supposed to perform the ritual. Dadi decided to participate in the ritual herself the following morning instead. With Kavya still asleep upstairs, her mother woke her up and explained the rasoi ritual. Kavya’s mother revealed their plan to sabotage the halwa made by Pratiksha and purchase an exotic halwa from the market for Kavya’s ritual the next day.
Pratiksha stepped into the kitchen accompanied by Nupur, ready to embark on the task of preparing halwa. Pratiksha’s nerves were getting the best of her, but Nupur came to the rescue by offering her a vocal tonic. Expressing her admiration for Pratiksha’s straightforwardness, Nupur reassured her that she had always loved her. The endearing term “bhabi” from Nupur uplifted Pratiksha’s spirits.
As Pratiksha busied herself with making the halwa, Nupur regaled her with nostalgic stories from their childhood. Meanwhile, Kavya and her mother had arrived with a secret plan in mind. Kavya’s mother entered the kitchen and informed Nupur that Dolly was searching for her, prompting Nupur to leave momentarily.
In the midst of preparing the halwa, Pratiksha found herself in need of locating the cashews and stepped outside to consult Nupur. Seizing the opportunity, Kavya sneaked into the kitchen. Mischievously, she proceeded to chop garlic and surreptitiously mix it into the halwa, ensuring it was well-blended. Just as Kavya was completing her deed, Nupur returned to the kitchen and questioned her presence.
Meanwhile, Kinjal and Parul served a meal to their uncle, sensing his unease. When the sisters inquired, he confessed that Pratiksha had transformed into a confident woman, which made him anxious. Nonetheless, they reassured him that everything would turn out fine and assured him that the Randhawa family would accept Pratiksha as their daughter-in-law within a few days.
After the intermission, Kavya managed to divert Nupur’s attention and proceeded to prepare tea for herself. Nupur left the scene, but a nagging feeling of something being amiss lingered within her. Meanwhile, Kavya muttered to herself about how Pratiksha was bound to lose the ritual this time. With that, she exited the kitchen. Pratiksha and Nupur hurriedly entered the kitchen, eager to bring the halwa to dadi. Nupur placed the bowl of halwa on the table as instructed. Dadi requested Nupur to offer it to Mata Rani. As Mandip lifted the lid of the bowl, a strong aroma of garlic filled the air. Dadi started searching for Pratiksha and called out to her. In the meantime, Mandip began accusing Pratiksha in front of dadi. Dolly joined in, teasing Mandip.
