The scene opens with Kavya’s piercing screams directed at Ravi for receiving a head massage from Pratiksha. Inquiring why Ravi allowed Pratiksha to massage his head, Kavya demands an explanation. Pratiksha steps in, asserting that Ravi was suffering from a severe headache and, as his wife, she believed she was doing the right thing by offering him a massage. Kavya insists that Pratiksha remain silent, as she and Ravi were engaged in a conversation. Overwhelmed by Kavya and Pratiksha’s heated argument, Ravi becomes flustered. Kavya bombards him with a barrage of questions, to which he struggles to provide coherent answers. Stumbling over his words, Ravi abruptly exits the room.
Subsequently, at the breakfast table, Mandip requests everyone to wait for Kavya, who has prepared kheer for the entire family. However, upon tasting it, no one finds it appealing. Ravi, after taking a spoonful, starts experiencing hiccups. Pratiksha, who isn’t fond of overly sweet dishes, declines to have the kheer and firmly rebuffs Kavya’s inquiries. Dolly Masi takes pleasure in Pratiksha’s confident demeanor and sharp responses. Feeling humiliated, Kavya abruptly leaves the breakfast table without a word to anyone. Jyoti Masi comments to Mandip about Kavya’s disrespectful behavior. Meanwhile, Pratiksha searches through her cupboard, and Ravi enters the room, asking what she is looking for. In turn, she poses the same question to him, seeking her rights as his wife, her rightful position as his Dharam Patni, and respect. She indicates that she wants something more from him as well. Ravi understands that she expects an apology for his actions, but he finds himself unable to utter the words. He then departs for his office.
Witnessing Kavya endure insults, Manvi’s heart sank. She implored Mandip to take action and teach Pratiksha a lesson. Mandip, however, advised Manvi to remain calm. Frustrated, Manvi expressed her disappointment in Mandip’s inability to utilize their extensive network to confront Pratiksha. Feeling helpless, Manvi offered an idea to Mandip. Collaborating with Kavya, they devised a plan to fabricate a divorce document, guilt-trapping Pratiksha and permanently separating her from Ravi. Their strategy involved hosting a late-night party at their residence, during which they would discreetly spike Pratiksha’s drink and obtain her signature on the forged document.
Following the intermission, Pratiksha was shown getting ready for the party when Kavya knocked on her door. Kavya entered, warning Pratiksha about her impending treatment. She advised Pratiksha to stay prepared and avoid attending the party altogether. Kavya explained that Mandip would introduce her as Ravi’s wife, which would undoubtedly hurt Pratiksha. Furthermore, Kavya emphasized that the event was strictly for family and colleagues, not outsiders. Hence, it would be wiser for Pratiksha to remain behind to avoid public humiliation.
