Vidhi enters and is taken aback upon seeing Shashi. Shashi immediately starts criticizing Vidhi again for her marriage to Dev, who is significantly older than her. Vidhi explains that she came to meet Rao ji regarding the charity event they are organizing.
Vidhi presents her work to him, but he interrupts her, mocking her for resorting to such cheap tactics to gather funds. He points out that she’s already wealthy and suggests that she should use her own money instead of seeking charity. He believes this issue reflects a broader problem in India. Sensing her worry, Satyavati attempts to inquire about the matter. Vidhi expresses her curiosity regarding why Satyavati never pursued teaching dance to children earlier. Satyavati explains that the Raichand women are prohibited from working, and she abided by this rule out of respect. However, Rhea disagreed with this rule, resulting in numerous conflicts between them. Satyavati speculates that Vidhi may also disapprove of this rule, but emphasizes the importance of upholding family traditions. Vidhi clarifies that she has no issue with this rule and kindly asks Satyavati to treat Priya, who is also part of the family, with respect. While sleeping, Amba was abruptly awakened by the sight of Dev and Vidhi nestled in her bed. Bewildered, she attempted to distance herself from the disconcerting scene by exploring different corners of the house. However, to her dismay, she stumbled upon Dev and Vidhi engaging in an intimate and mocking exchange. Dev callously declared, “I never loved you,” intensifying Amba’s frustration. She believed that this unfortunate turn of events was solely due to Dev’s rejection of her in favor of Vidhi.
Overwhelmed with anger and resentment, Amba resorted to hurling objects at the imaginary figures of Dev and Vidhi. Determined to sever ties with the house that held such painful memories, she made a resolute decision to sell it for good.
Later that night, Dev and Vidhi found themselves engrossed in a conversation about Amba’s release, facilitated by Priya. Vidhi confessed that she had anticipated this outcome and had willingly cooperated with the plan. Her intention was to gain insight into Amba’s future actions by allowing her to confide in Priya. However, Dev, skeptical of Priya’s loyalty, dismissed Vidhi’s naivety and cautioned her against trusting Priya’s intentions. Despite Dev’s reservations, Vidhi attempted to defend Priya, earnestly believing in her integrity.
