Sensing their trickery, Meet appeals to the lady present, requesting her to wait as she intends to purchase some gifts for Cheeku from a nearby shop. As Meet departs, Kanika contacts Cheeku’s parents and urgently instructs them to leave immediately. She informs them that she has arranged for an ambulance where they should seat Cheeku. Back at home, Sumeet prepares a “Welcome Back” chart for Cheeku, and Gunwanti inquires about the English text written on it. Sumeet playfully teases her by claiming to have expressed a profound love for Gunwanti in those words.
Mahendra approaches and reveals the truth, calling Gunwanti illiterate. He informs Sumeet that Cheeku has departed with his parents and won’t return, but Sumeet remains certain that Cheeku will come back. Gunwanti contacts Kanika and discloses Meet’s attempt to bring Cheeku back home, leaving Kanika in shock. Sumeet inquires about Gunwanti’s conversation regarding Cheeku with Kanika. Meanwhile, Manmeet finds Sumeet in the market and questions her destination. Sumeet wonders how he found her, and Manmeet presents her doll, which she had dropped. Sumeet initially makes excuses but then admits that she was going to meet Cheeku. Meet contacts Manmeet and reveals the truth about Cheeku’s fake parents.
Manmeet requests Meet to keep a watchful eye on a particular group of individuals while he takes Sumeet home. Meet advises him to apprehend and expose them. As the impostor parents depart, they notice a crowd of people running towards a certain location and learn that gold has been discovered in the area. They instruct Cheeku to wait on the side while they go to retrieve the gold. Meet and Manmeet apprehend the culprits, severely reprimand them, and hand them over to the police. Meet embraces Cheeku, and Manmeet joins them. Later, Meet visits the police station and gives the inspector a stern lecture.
Upon examining the documents submitted to the inspector, Meet points out that all the documents bear the seal of gazetted officers. She suspects that someone must be involved in orchestrating the entire scam. Sumeet and Cheeku return home, and Gunwanti resumes her negative comments about Sumeet. However, Yashoda shuts her down. Sapna reveals the truth about the fake couple, but Gunwanti attempts to argue until Yashoda intervenes. Kanika becomes furious at her repeated failures. Gunwanti and Mahendra bring a file regarding an alcohol factory to Kanika. She insists on signing it only if they bring Cheeku to her. The episode concludes with an implicit threat to complete her work by the night, leaving Meet suspicious about the larger conspiracy surrounding the pursuit of Cheeku.
