Kanika’s plan failed as Meet and Manmeet brought Cheeku to their home, much to her frustration. Despite Cheeku’s cries of pain, Meet showed him love and care by offering him water and tending to his injured foot. After cleaning and applying medicine to Cheeku’s wound, Meet asked Manmeet if he was the child who had fled from an orphanage. To verify this, Meet contacted Chanda and requested her to examine a photo he sent to see if Cheeku was indeed the runaway child.
Kanika becomes doubtful as she observes Meet photographing Cheeku. Meet hands over a pen and paper to Cheeku and motivates him to jot down some details about himself. At the factory, Gunwanti holds Meet and Manmeet responsible for their absence. Mahendra and Gunwanti try to incite Sarkar, while Yashoda attempts to pacify them. Unfortunately, Sarkar rebukes Yashoda instead. Cheeku feels anxious while attempting to write and drops the pen upon recollecting Mohari’s demise. Meet comforts Cheeku and embraces him, urging him not to fear.
Manmeet informs Meet that Sumeet is currently resting due to a fever. Upon hearing this, Meet becomes worried and expresses her desire to visit Sumeet. However, Manmeet informs her that Sumeet is already asleep. He goes on to reveal that Sumeet knows Cheeku, who had stayed over at their house two days ago. The information connects with Sumeet’s previous questions, causing Meet to realize that she had unknowingly been helping Cheeku.
Meet begins to wonder why people are targeting Cheeku. Just then, Sarkar, Yashoda, and others return home, and Sarkar is angry with Manmeet. Mahendra also blames him for prioritizing a stranger kid over his own family. Gunwanti spots Cheeku wearing Veer’s clothes and accuses him of stealing. Yashoda tries to intervene, but Gunwanti persists in questioning Cheeku. The frightened child seeks solace by hugging Meet, who warns Gunwanti against making false allegations against a kid.
Sarkar instructs Manmeet to stop following his wife, and the situation comes to a head.
Kanika is feeling more troubled now that her whole family knows about the child. Meet prays and remembers her own lost son while expressing her hope that God can help find Cheeku’s family. Meanwhile, Lata discovers Cheeku’s locket while putting away toys and wonders if it belongs to Sumeet.
Lata goes to the temple where Meet is praying and waits for her to finish. Before leaving, she places the locket in front of Meet without her noticing. Later, Manmeet joins Meet and comforts her as she cries and expresses her emotional connection to Cheeku. He reminds her that a mother’s love is powerful and that she will soon find her son.
As this is happening, Cheeku cries alone in his room. The episode ends with Meet and Manmeet deciding to pray for Cheeku’s well-being, while Kanika plans to make him leave while they’re gone.
