The episode commences with Faltu expressing his admiration for the Mittal family for joining them for dinner. Savita warmly invites him to join them for food, noting that he hadn’t eaten anything since yesterday. Faltu agrees but offers to fetch his medication first.
Savita becomes emotional and halts Faltu, posing a question about her son, Ayaan’s, return from jail. Faltu assures her that Ayaan will be back soon and promises to celebrate with dancing. Kumkum also joins in, pledging to dance if the happy event occurs.
However, Janardhan interjects, expressing his worries that their house may be taken away by Kanika before that happens. Suhana frets that they may become homeless. Faltu reassures them, stating that nobody can seize Janardhan’s house.
In this scenario, a thief is brought into the same cell as Ayaan by the police. The thief seems pleased to see Ayaan and offers him a packet of stolen biscuits from JM Mart. However, Ayaan is annoyed by the thief’s behavior. Later, the police speak to Ayaan and advise him to ask for forgiveness from Kanika, as the media is causing irritation among the inmates. Despite this advice, Ayaan confidently claims that he will soon be released once the actual perpetrator is caught.
Later that night, Faltu sneaks downstairs unnoticed and leaves the premises. She meets up with her friends and confides in them about her weak English skills and the urgent need to find some files. Faltu’s friends are supportive and agree to help her with her task.
In the dimly lit cell of the jail, Ayaan tossed and turned, struggling to fall asleep. His restless state was soon interrupted by a familiar figure lurking outside the bars. It was Tanisha, and her presence only served to further agitate him.
“What are you doing here?” Ayaan snapped at her.
“I came for you, Ayaan,” Tanisha replied, her voice soft and sympathetic. “I know you haven’t eaten anything, and neither have I. I brought you some Chinese, your favorite.”
Ayaan recoiled at the sight of the food, unwilling to accept any gesture of kindness from the one who had caused his arrest.
“How low will you stoop?” he spat at her. “You’re the reason I’m here, and now you want to show sympathy? Are you out of your mind? You need help.”
Tanisha tried to explain herself, but Ayaan refused to listen, calling out for the constable instead. Tanisha, undeterred, made one last attempt to bridge the gap between them.
“I thought we could have a romantic date and eat together,” she offered.
But Ayaan’s response was swift and unforgiving.
“Even if you were the last girl on earth, I still wouldn’t love you,” he declared. “You’re that bad. I wish I never met you.”
Tanisha became emotional and offered Ayaan a packet of Chinese food to eat, but he threw it away and declared that he didn’t want it. Despite this, Tanisha expressed her love for Ayaan, but he responded by saying that he hated her. Tanisha tried to reason with him, suggesting that he was just angry at her and that his anger would subside, promising to continue visiting him. However, a constable soon arrived and took Tanisha away.
Later, another police officer arrived, carrying a few law books, which he gave to Ayaan, who thanked him. However, the head police officer arrived shortly thereafter and advised Ayaan that books would not be enough to help him; instead, he should focus on gathering evidence to support his case.
In the workplace, Bandish cautions Faltu against going inside due to increased security measures following Ayaan’s attempted escape. However, Faltu remains determined, and upon seeing guards having dinner, she and her companions sneak in to search for files. Suddenly, the guards spot Bandish and apprehend him. The room’s lights turn on, and Sid and Tanisha catch Faltu in the act. They threaten to have her and her friends arrested. Sid suggests calling the same police officer who handled Ayaan’s case. Tanisha agrees, stating that this will show Ayaan that Faltu is of no use.
Faltu reveals that her father-in-law still owns 10 percent of the company and she can enter the office with her friends or on behalf of Janardhan. Sid and Tanisha are stunned by this revelation.
In this situation, Tanisha requested that Sid and everyone else leave so that she could have a private conversation with Faltu. During their conversation, Tanisha cautioned Faltu that if they wished to secure Ayaan’s release, they must accept her offer and depart from him. Tanisha added that this proposal would only be valid until the end of the day, and any refusal would result in negative consequences for Faltu. However, Faltu remained resolute in their decision not to abandon Ayaan, despite Tanisha’s frustration with their response.
