The scene begins with Chandni returning home and being taken aback by the sight of her friends waiting for her. Roshni informs her that she has invited them over. Chandni is curious about Roshni’s intentions. Soon, Roshni appears downstairs, and Chandni converses with her friends, who inquire about Raunaq. Raunaq enters the room with his companion and introduces Shanaya, his old friend from school. To Chandni’s dismay, Raunaq humiliates her by making inappropriate remarks. Her friends notice that Raunaq is with another woman and comment on it. Meanwhile, Sumer arrives and witnesses the scene. He reprimands Raunaq for his behavior, and as a result, Chandni’s friends depart from the house.
The conversation goes as follows: “You cannot become a man and handle your responsibilities. How could you insult Chandni by acting so shamelessly?” exclaimed an angry individual. However, Chandni tries to de-escalate the situation, but the person insists that they will not tolerate the disrespect of their female family members. Another person interjects, questioning the first person’s authority on the matter, stating that they did not even respect their own wife. The first person then turns to the girl and accuses her of being paid for her actions before telling her to leave. Later, Roshni approaches the second person and is chastised for not controlling the first person’s behavior. The second person demands that Roshni prevent any future incidents from happening. Roshni is left to ponder whether the second person’s outburst was actually due to Chandni’s involvement in the situation.
Chandni alleges that Roshni was a co-conspirator in the scheme. Raj contacts her and expresses disapproval of the incident, stating that it was unethical. Chandni reassures him, saying that she came to the location for Roshni’s sake. Raj inquires if she examined the notes, to which she responds negatively, revealing that the slips were blank, and she had received a threatening message. Raj discloses that he received a call while he was packing the box. Chandni speculates that the number would be inactive. Raj affirms her suspicions and commends the intelligence of the unknown caller. He mentions that Sanjot is contacting him and promises to return the call.
While Nisha was chatting with her friend on the phone, thoughts of Manav made her smile. Meanwhile, Chandni noticed the lights flickering and saw sparks flying, prompting her to shout for everyone to be called. She urgently requested Raunaq to evacuate the house with everyone, as she went to find Roshni. Raunaq hesitated, worrying for Chandni’s safety, but she assured him that she could handle the situation and insisted that he leave. Once she found Roshni, Chandni discovered that the door was locked and asked Raunaq to assist. She decided to take matters into her own hands and grabbed a wooden stick to turn off the main power connection, which she successfully accomplished.
According to Meher, the absence of Sumer and the presence of Roshni alone suggests that someone might have attempted to harm Roshni. However, Gautam makes light of the situation and deflects by avoiding the topic of having a baby. Meanwhile, Raunaq notices Chandni tending to her burn wound and takes over to help. A romantic moment between them ensues, accompanied by the song “Tu chaun hai…”. Sanjot advises Nisha to start going to work, but Nisha insists on pursuing her passion for photography instead. This leads to a heated argument, and Sanjot leaves in frustration. Later, Sumer calls Roshni and apologizes for his past behavior, but she remains sad and lonely.
Chandni is currently on a call and mentions that Roshni has a fondness for reading books. Chandni considers the idea of getting some books for Roshni as a thoughtful gesture. In addition, she remembers that she needs to deliver some files to Manav and requests Nisha to give an important file to him.
