The episode commences with Vimla confiding in Chandni about the problems that had arisen between Sumer and Chitra, which ultimately led to Chitra leaving the house with Raunaq. Vimla discloses that Chitra used to be suspicious of Sumer because he was always engrossed in work, and her doubts were amplified after Chitra passed away at a young age. Vimla suspects that someone from the Babbar house may have deliberately separated Sumer and Chitra. She expresses her desire for the house’s happiness, and Chandni embraces her, promising to restore joy to the home. Vimla happily blesses her.
Chandni ponders over who may have caused trouble in Sumer’s marriage and is now threatening Roshni. She hatches a plan to ensnare the person sending her anonymous letters and expose their identity. Meanwhile, Nisha records Raunaq wincing in pain due to a backache. She playfully teases him, and they engage in a pillow fight. Nisha hands Raunaq a back support cushion that she and Chandni had purchased for him. Raunaq reflects on how his sister is not with him because of Chandni and how conflicting feelings about her arise within him. He recalls Avantika’s allegations that Chandni trapped her and left her behind. He acknowledges that he does not want to hurt Chandni, but the pain she has caused him by taking his sister away makes it challenging for him to accept her.
Chandni informed Sanjot that Manav had invited all of them for lunch at his house. Nisha became excited about the idea, but Sanjot initially refused. However, after hearing that some important ministers and high-ranking officials from the fire department would also be there, Sanjot finally agreed to attend. Chandni also mentioned that Roshni would not be returning until late at night, and that Sumer had called to inform Sanjot, but she was too busy at work to answer the phone.
Later, Chandni began to suspect that Roshni was not actually returning and that someone was trying to harm her. She lied to trap the culprit.
Meanwhile, Raunaq was having difficulty applying ointment to his back, so Chandni came to his aid. As they looked at each other, Raunaq urged her to maintain a distance, believing it would be better for both of them. When he saw a lizard, Raunaq became frightened and hid behind Chandni. Nisha arrived after hearing him shout and they all laughed at Raunaq’s silly reaction. Eventually, Raunaq thanked Chandni for her help and went to freshen up.
Vrinda contacts Chandni to express her unease that something ominous is on the horizon. Chandni assures Vrinda that everything is alright at home and advises her to pray for her family during satsang. Despite Chandni’s reassurances, she suspects that she has lied to her grandmother and that something significant is brewing. Meanwhile, Nisha receives notification that she has won a photography competition and excitedly leaves a voice message for Manav to share the good news. Chandni overhears Vimla informing Ishika that Roshni will arrive late, which seems to confirm her suspicions that her scheme is working. The episode ends with Chandni believing that her plan is succeeding.
