Samar expresses his outrage at Anuj’s betrayal of Anupama, while Kavya suggests that there may be a valid reason for his behavior. However, Samar insists that Anuj made it clear that he wants to live with Maaya, not Anupama, and that this is a clear act of betrayal. Vanraj suggests that Anuj is seeking revenge on Anupama and has no intention of returning, while Kavya believes that betrayal and hurting people is Vanraj’s nature, not Anuj’s, and that there must be a strong reason for his actions. Pakhi believes that Anuj genuinely wants to return, but something may have happened to prevent him from doing so. Hasmukh argues that no reason can be bigger than love and that Anuj has done wrong. Ankush announces that he will visit Mumbai to investigate the situation, believing that someone may have brainwashed Anuj. Barkha insists that Anuj is not a child to be brainwashed. Anupama retreats to her room and removes her makeup while the song “Do Naina Ek Kahani” plays in the background. Kanta emotionally embraces her, explaining that she was unsure about Anuj’s promise, but that his failure to show up after she spoke with him and confirmed his commitment proved her doubts. Anupama states that her and Anuj’s companionship had reached its limit, and it is time for them to go their separate ways. Kanta inquires if Anupama is okay, to which she responds that she is hurt and surprised that she didn’t suffer a heart attack. From now on, she will think of herself and never open the Anuj chapter again, starting fresh on her own.
Upon their return home, Leela expresses her disappointment to the Shahs for visiting Anupama despite her warning. Vanraj takes the opportunity to criticize Anuj’s actions, saying he knew that Anuj wouldn’t return. However, Kavya feels that there is more to the issue than meets the eye, and Kinjal agrees with her. Vanraj accuses them of supporting Anuj and being in denial about his betrayal. Samar chimes in, saying that Anuj has lost his respect after what he did. Kavya tries to express her feelings, but Vanraj interrupts her and accuses her of being self-centered. Kavya explains that she left her husband and career for him, but he doesn’t seem to care about her. Vanraj argues that he didn’t stop her from working, but Kavya retorts that he has always tried to control her. She cites examples of how he didn’t allow her to take up a job in Delhi and made her quit her modeling career. Leela intervenes and urges them to stop their argument.
Vanraj argues with Kavya and criticizes her for talking to Anirudh. Kavya asks Vanraj to be specific and questions why she can’t talk to Anirudh when he and Leela are dreaming to bring Anupama home. She reminds him that he is just the father of her children and nothing else. Kavya then lashes out at Vanraj for letting her have children, saying that if she had children, she would be ashamed to tell them that Vanraj is their father. Hasmukh intervenes and asks them to stop the fight and argue again after he dies.
At Kapadia mansion, Adhik scolds Pakhi for trying to be a peacemaker between Anuj and Anupama, which he thinks has lost the chance for them to reunite again. Barkha joins him and Ankush criticizes Vanraj and Toshu, stating that they are so toxic that he wouldn’t even consider staying with them. Barkha asserts that Anuj and Anupama will never return to this house, so Pakhi can either stay there or leave. Pakhi asks Adhik if he will accompany her to their house, but Adhik says no. Pakhi then decides to stay wherever her husband stays.
Anupama lies in bed, reminiscing about the quality time spent with Anuj while the song “Do Nainaa..” plays in the background. Bhairavi notices her tears and asks if she’s having trouble sleeping. Anupama admits that she can’t sleep and Bhairavi shares that remembering her father brings a smile to her face, even though he used to scold her and love her intensely. Anupama agrees, saying that her father always worried about her and suggests they focus on the good memories rather than the bitter ones. Bhairavi repeats that she smiles whenever she thinks of her father, and Anupama encourages her to continue doing so. Bhairavi decides it’s time to sleep since she needs to wake up early to sell vegetables, and Anupama helps her doze off.
As Anupama lays there, she can’t help but feel hurt by Anuj’s decision to inform her of his departure without an explanation. She prays to God to keep him and Little Anu safe wherever they are and admits that she loves him but won’t wait for him again.
The next morning, Kavya emerges from her room with a bag in hand, shocking the Shahs when she announces that she’s leaving the house. She explains that she can force herself to stay in a place but not in someone’s heart, and she’s made the decision to leave. Kanta notices Anupama searching for something and asks what she’s looking for. Anupama shares that her students gave her an advertisement for an international cultural group visiting Ahmedabad, and she’s interested in exploring more than just dance. Kanta asks her to promise something, but what that promise is remains a mystery. [Episode End]
